Site crew
Hourly positions on our active sites. Exact site addresses are shared with shortlisted applicants.
Rebar Labourer
Place and tie reinforcing steel for footings, walls and slabs to structural drawings, ready for engineer inspection.
- Rebar placing experience; able to read basic structural drawings
- Own hand tools, safety boots, hard hat and hi-vis
- Reliable transportation to site
Compaction Labourer (skilled)
Place and compact granular base and backfill in lifts with plate tampers, jumping jacks and rollers to meet geotechnical density requirements.
- Experience with compaction equipment and lift-by-lift backfill
- Understands density testing and geotech inspections
- Own safety gear and reliable transportation
Excavator Operator
Operate mid-size excavators for bulk excavation, trenching for services, backfill and grading on tight urban lots.
- Proven experience on 20-ton class excavators
- Comfortable digging near shoring, utilities and property lines
- Valid driver's licence; operator references required

We're inviting qualified trades to bid on our next project: three 3-storey duplex buildings (six homes) over a shared underground parkade. Construction is targeted to start November 1, 2026. Bid deadlines vary by trade and are listed in each bid package, which includes drawings and quantities. If your trade is listed below, we'd like to hear from you.

Rated on real work
After every completed job, our site team rates each trade on four things that matter on site. Trades with consistently strong scores earn Verified status, priority invitations to bid, and a public listing here.
- Ratings come only from completed Red Cedar jobs, never from anonymous reviews.
- Every trade sees their own scorecard and can respond before anything is published.
- We publish a trade's name and rating only with their written consent.
- Our first Verified Trades will be listed as current projects wrap up.
